What expertise do you bring to the bridal process?

I have been fortunate over the years to work very closely with designers and have even been part of the design & marketing process with a couple of well known lines. I love to use my design background when accessorizing a dress or suggesting ways to incorporate details from your gown into your wedding decorations or theme.  Visualization and attention to detail are my forte.

 

What kind of advice would you give your brides about dress shopping?

Make it fun! If you have an idea of what feeling or style you want the wedding to have let us know. We can suggest ideas, incorporate aspects from your gown, bridesmaid's dresses, colors etc. to make your wedding day personal to you! Oh, and don't forget to remember why you are getting married in the first place...  It is about love, beautiful memories, and a great party!  Don't get caught up in the small stuff and let it stress you out - enjoy your wedding day and the whole process leading up to it!

 

What do you like to do when you aren’t working at Alicia’s?

I love to spend time gardening, working on my new house, interior design, and cooking (gluten-free). I also love to dance!
