How long have you worked at Alicia’s? What is your favorite part of the bridal process?
I’ve worked at Alicia for almost 3 years but I came from the Tacoma area where I had another year of experience working with brides down there. I love working with brides but my favorite part is finding the bridesmaids dresses to go with the bride’s gown. Watching brides start to visualize the whole party and have her day take shape is a great moment to be a part of.

 

What kind of advice would you give your brides about dress shopping?
When you’re shopping for your bridal gown, have an open mind to other styles. A lot of brides come in with a dress in mind, and leave with something they thought they would never love. Try on other styles that your consultant recommends because we do have you in mind when we bring out gowns.

 

What do you like to do when you aren’t working at Alicia’s?
When I’m not working at Alicia’s you can find me hiking with my dog or baking up something sweet. Cake pops and pies are my latest baking obsession but I’m always coming up with something new to bake up.

 

Favorite bridal movie?
The princess bride is by far my favorite bridal movie. We always quote from that movie and it can always cheer me up. “Inconceivable!”
